Having acquired Evie from Sue a few years ago as a companion for Portia, our beloved old GSD, who sadly passed away in August 2007, we contacted Sue who, of course, was immensely supportive and sympathetic to our loss. We knew that we wanted another friend for Evie, so it came as great news when we were told that Mia was about to give birth and, of the litter of four, we chose the only bitch.

Well, we haven’t looked back since.

Keara truly is a wonderful dog with a beautiful temperament. Puppyhood was a breeze and, now that she is a ‘teenager’, all the advice and tips that Sue gave us throughout her growing up stages, are paying dividends. She has a totally relaxed and carefree outlook on life, taking everything in her stride, is keen to please, quick to learn … and oozes affection.

She and Evie are the best of friends; they play together, eat together and sleep together, love the horses, and both are very gentle with children, cats and … yes, even the hens, guinea fowl and other game birds are left well alone!

We couldn’t wish for a more well-balanced dog, and would recommend that anyone looking for a rewarding relationship with a truly noble breed, should contact Sue.
