Aggressive at meal times
Our 2 year old pugs Penny and Vince are the first dogs we have owned. They were very poorly when they were born and it looked like they would not survive but with a lot of tender loving care they have grown into two lovely healthy dogs.
When the dogs were about 1 year old, Vince began get aggressive towards Penny at meal times. We started to separate Penny and Vince at meal times but the aggressiveness continued once the dogs were put together again.
Vince was put on tablets prescribed by the Vets which helped to some degree but did not totally cure his aggressive behaviour, so we also tried two different behaviourists, again the problem could not be resolved.
When the aggressiveness increased we called in Sue Kewley. With Sue’s help and guidance we have now managed to calm down Vince’s aggression and make him a lot happier and friendly dog, who no longer needs any medication from the Vets.
We will need to continue with the techniques that Sue has taught us to ensure that Vince remains a calm dog and we will continue to feed Penny and Vince separately but overall the results from calling in Sue have been fantastic and we are all a lot happier family now.
